Good news for all Green Lantern fans all over the world. We will have Green Lantern 2 movie for sure. According to Heat Vision, Greg Berle, Michael Green and Marc Guggenheim will write the first script for movie versions of Green Lantern 2 and The Flash. Both movies will have release dates in 2013 as we know at this time from imdb, but nothing is sure. Exact release date for Green Lantern 2 is not set at this time but could be in summer 2013.The three writers responsible for Green Lantern story will outline the narrative directions for both projects, and, according to Green Lantern's performance at the box office and creative evolution, will grab the complete script designed for one of the two movies. So we understand that the manufacturers do not want to do both movies, or will not do them simultaneously. Green Lantern was released in cinemas on 17 June 2011. Michael Goldenberg (Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix) will be the main writer for the script of Green Lantern 2, according to Variety.
The main role is played by Ryan Reynolds. The distribution of the first movie also includes Blake Lively, Peter Sarsgaard, Mark Strong, Temuera Morrison, Jenna Craig, Jon Tenney and Tim Robbins.
Apparently the second movie in the series will be starring Ryan Reynolds. The second adventure Green Lantern 2 will arrive in theaters in 2013. As we know the producers for Green Lantern 2 will be Greg Berlanti (Green Lantern, Everwood, Pilot) and Donald De Line (Italian Job, Body of Lies).
